*NEW REGION* Milton Keynes Tues 3rd Feb

We had a great turnout for the first meet, 6 cars and i think 9 members on what was the coldest day of the year.

Location :Caldecote Arms, Milton Keynes MK

When : Tuesday 3rd February 2009

What time : 7.30 onwards

Q.Do i eat at the venue?
A.Best eat beforehand as Phill was unimpressed with the quality. ops:

Q. Where do i park?
A. In the car park next to the other Mk1`s :wink:

Q. What if my Mk1 isnt on the road just yet?
A. Come along anyway, there is a great sourse of knowlege and a local member may have spare parts  

Last one was great fun and we need to talk to the people we didn't get round to meeting last time…. so…. good news is I'll confirm with the missus that we can go as Arsenal aren't playing that night… bad news is… mk1 restore might be underway and it might be in the middle of being stripped… might have to take the battered vectra  :cry:

Who's all going?  Who have we yet to have a bit of a chin wag and laugh with?

Really was a good turn out last time considering it was freezing… great bunch though so definitely up for another visit!!!  :y:

Ok… if it's icy (like it was last time) then I'll buy you a pint bud… if it's NOT icy then you have to do a full lap of the pub in your undercrackers…!!!

Hmmmmm….. it seems after writing this, Yomp has decided to muck with the atmosphere (a curry the night before… paaarrrppp) and cause vast cloud disruption… basically he's broken them and all the fluff has came out and is everywhere…. 2 ft worth of cloud-powder in some parts of the country… honestly… the lengths that lad will go to, to win a bet!!!  :dontknow:

Sadly I won't be attending this as it's a fair bit of driving so risky in those conditions, Arsenal ARE playing in the FA cup and I didn't realise it… sorry people… if it's rescheduled I'll do my best to be there.

Don't know if I can make it yet myself. I'm meant to be on a job in Leeds tomorrow. Don't fancy the drive at the moment but they're stopping their production on my behalf so I feel I should make an effort :roll:

Still on the upside I managed to talk a customer through a PLC problem today over the phone and get the machine going rather than driving 160miles in todays weather. - Just glad it wasn't my phone bill!

If I do come I might be in my Land rover instead. Laptop up and running so can do some more mapping of megasquirt
