Mk1 Jetta Project

Hey everyone,

Im new to the forum, just thought I would introduce my self and my project.

I have a 1982 mk1 jetta. Its been off the road for about 10 years. Its a 1.5 GL with  57k on it. Was apparently left in a garage for 8 years following the death of its elderly owner.   Its very original, having only had 2 owners from new.  I have had the car about 18 months, needs a bit of welding, most of that has now been done.  Hoping to re spray it soon. Wow that looks pretty tidy, are you going to modify it much?  Love the wheel trims!

Cheers, Ye, I have a set of coilovers for it, and a nice set of wheels. Also swapping the front seats for a set of brown electric Porsche tombstones. I have added a rev counter to the clocks and a GTI steering wheel.  Other than that will probably keep it fairly standard.
