Looks a good project. It would be nice to find one that needs restoring but they all seem to be done already. Look forward to the updates

The car is being restored to as close to concours as possible.
The shell is being bare metal repainted by the guy who did mine.
They started stripping the extended arches but found it had had a slight knock on the rear quarter and had been badly repaired.
The panel beater guru who's in the next unit to me is sorting out the panels on it but the painter said he was to busy to do the mechanicals. I sort of joked that I'd do it as work is quiet at the moment and that was that the job was mine. The client wants it back for next spring.

Sorry guys I was never that keen on them to begin with.  

My mate has a belter of a Rallye.
I'm a big fan of them.

Lovely cars in original form. Nice project. Should be a belter by the time she is finished.

Got told off at McD's drive thru in reverse

managed to strip the running gear off this week…..

made a rolling bogey to keep the shell mobile…



Also made a frame for the engine and front subframe….



Should ease building the unit back up as a complete unit ready to roll into the painted shell.

i am friends with Chris on the mk2oc, and saw his black rallye he has just bought at a local show today, they are nice :-)

Parts are going to be hard to source and I've yet to locate any sort of repair manual for it.

We're hoping to have it ready for next years UD.

Rallye just come up on ebay for £4500 , look like a good buy :-)
