My Mk1 Golf Clipper is my daily driver but, because of both a job change and now being a proud dad, with great reluctance, she may have to go.
But I cant part with this!

Lovely though they are, they didn't, unlike the Golf, create a whole new genre of car though…

My 2 kids at a car show earlier this year, my son has now out grown his seat as he's a tall 3 year old, you can get 3 point seat belts but they are expensive and require welding/bolting on the rear wheel arch, check the link below…RichieS said
now that is very interesting news indeed!

Thanks for the words guys and the news that child seats can fit a Clipper is more than interesting. Whether I can justify keeping it as a daily driver remains to be seen but that news certainly helps…
I've noticed on mine that there are what might be mounting points at shoulder ish height in the back. there's a kind of 'indent' with a rubber bung in the middle…or am I barking up the wrong tree?

It's been played with (Holley carbs, high compression and big cam, straight through exhaust) and sounds insane, but is now parked up in the garden and is nearly beyond saving.
