So off comes the old metal shed at the back and on we crack

first we get the workshop space sorted

Then we start extending the roof over the concrete bunker… (it looks like there's a shed eating the garage



Then finally bite the bullet and replace all the roof…


Much better. It's gone from this:

Just need to clad the outside, do the electrical work and internal fitout… then I can finally get back to the car…
Still, once it's finished, it should look like this:

Although if going to all that effort, why didn't you widen it too so you can work on the car?

Front needs a little work, but I was waiting until the rest was done, so I could use the off cuts

Most of the cladding done, but I won't cut out the wondow holes until I have the glass to fit in the holes
(notice I've also covered up the old windows so I don't get an UV fading the interior of the Golf (as it sits at the front of the garage)
