distraction Nov15

I hadn't been in main site for a while ,but last nov my mechanic mentioned he knew someone reluctantly selling a car he had nearly 20 years.It needed some tlc like few small parking dents and some body work tidied.  
My daughter loves it but not if she is stuck in the back .

The prev owner had told me the seat bolster was worn  so I had a new panel replaced with new leather by a local car upholsterer and the seats treated with scuff master .I have to say cream , or 'linen' is nt the most practical of colours , but the sports seat feel great for support.

Ah lovely!!

I've had three 944s and just starting to get my head around owning another one! lol

Those sports seats are very comfy, I could do many miles in them.

I owned a red S2 likes yours, then a red '83 square dash model, then finally my favourite, the turbo!

I sold it for £5k 3 years ago. Sadly it would cost me double to buy similar now! I regretted selling it as soon as I did, still do, was a foolish move!!

thanks , I got the clock display replaced ,which was easy fix .Then got a dent repair guy go over the car .Got the belts done and the small plastic guides replaced on the chain tensioner .just gives a bit of confidence knowing they are sorted. The turbo looks good

Yeah belts/chains/tensioners all worth keeping on top of on these.

Those plastic pads on the S2 3.0 litre do have a habit of breaking up with age.
