Gearbox failure

Good afternoon all .
New to the group .
I’m looking for some advice please if possible,
I’ve 1986 mk1 gti cabriolet . It’s been in my possession for 5 years , I took it out storage in May of this year , driving perfect little rough but that’s expected. Today I was moving it from my garage to the hay shed as the garage is getting a new roof . Started perfect went to engage first gear wouldn’t go into gear same with 2nd and reverse. Eventually got it moved in 3rd gear but now it won’t engage any gears . Any advice would be greatly appreciated . The car is in Ireland.
