I picked up my RS's(001s as well)after a random forum find for £600 already in 8x15 guise with toyo 195/45s on… Pulled the tyres off and sold them for 100,pulled the lips off and stripped them and repolished them and sold them for 200 a pair and had the new lips donated for a favour so for my 9.5 and 10.5" RS001s im out 100quid plus 80 for the powdercoating….theres deals out their,you just got to be lucky lol

Ok so a pretty successful day at JonP's MK1 emporium. Managed to get the shifter fitted and most of the exhaust including the downpipe. The back box needs a hanger sorting which the last owner appears to have taken off

Might be, didn't think you could get anything but black, grey (a really light grey though) or cream. I could be wrong but it looks aftermarket to me, mine is 100% genuine as I had three sets at one point that were all from different cars, all black but the pile on the carpet was much taller (The carpet was thicker)

Got any other pics of the interior? I was only asking as I am about to swap mine for a newton commercial item and thought you might have already done that.

Bit tight for space with the jetex hey. Because there's a fair bit of weight to them, try manufacturing something so you can make use of the spare hanger on the bend of the centre section. It's something I need to do with mine.

Maybe I'll pop round in mine when you guys are about

Will get some pics for you next time Joe. The carpet is in pretty decent nick in mine hence why I haven't changed it. Might do so in the future though

Pop by mate by all means be good to get some tips off you re the hanger setup

carpet is because it was a 1.1. My old one had the same. Prefer the deep pile gti spec carpet though.
