My Black Mk1 Gti...now a resto!!

I have always wanted a Mk1 but most of the ones I looked at we're rotten and the owners wanted big money!! So after a long search I finally found a half decent example. Mechanically it pretty good, had plenty of parts replaced. Interior needs a tidy up but generally it's in decent shape for 32 years old. Anyway here are some pics, the pics flatter it a bit and make it look better than it is but have a ganders to see what ye think..

Been a while since I have updated, not much has happened apart from a set of coilovers, single lamp grille and a freshly refurbed set of BBS RA's……some Picts below

They are 165/50 R15. The tyres were on them when I bought them so just refitted them after the refurb. Would like to go to 185's next time….
