This is her in the first couple of days of getting her home.
I need to change those horrible alloys they dont suit it in my opinion.
As i said over the past couple of weekends ive been stripping her and it revealed a few nasties.
The plastic arch liners hid a few rot spots that i couldnt see at first
Thats as far as ive got so far but im looking forward to cracking on with it and restoring her to her former glory ill try and keep you posted as i progress.

Bet the captain of the Titanic wishes he had known that before he set sail

Not much progress im afraid, she's been tucked up in the unit for a while as I've been travelling south east Asia with my girlfriend for the last two months, I really want it on the road for next summer, I've been saying this for the last 3 years haha but I'm planning to get stuck in a gain when I get back and really progress with it over winter.

Front suspension 90 percent assembled today. Got the rear struts assembled and on the car too. Hopefully fuel tank and rear axle on next week.

Are those back plates on the right way round? Difficult to tell from the photo but they curve away from the disc. Those look like theyre curving towards?

Ahh sh*t. Been a while since I took it apart you are correct my friend. Thanks for that would have been a surprise when I went to put the disc on

Easily done if your not accustomed to them. it seems the natural way to put them. Trouble now is you got either cut them or pop the wheel bearing which usually results in the inner race coming out.

Yeah. I've ordered two new bearings to be on the safe side. Luckily I had the ones on the car in my parts collection so haven't had to fork out twice thank God.Yomp said
