But first i had to remove the old one, i cut most of it away just leaving the spot welded lip, i then started drilling out the spot welds.
The sides came away pretty easy but it was still attached at the top so i removed this to see if it would reveal more spot welds.
Unfortunately it didnt so i need to investigate further, and that is pretty much where i am up to.

Will also add that i am 70 next year and to say that i dont like welding / grinding rusty cars any more would be an under statement.
