Got the wheel caps, just need to torque up the bolts before putting caps on. Anyone know the torque settings?

Oh wow
jezzer
that's beautiful!!!
You must be rather pleased with the end results. When's the MOT?
Haynes will tell you the wheel nut torque - I think it's 90NM from memory?
You can compare yours for like-for-like with Swerve but don't let him anywhere near your rear hatch glass, he may take it!

Swerve you said; "I like to think of it as a old house restoration that u leave one wall original showing it's age and war wounds."
I'm planning to do that with my whole car, well apart from the whacking big dent on the drivers side rear 1/4!
I do have to admit though that what jezzer has done with this Mk1 is fantastic!

Thanks guys. What's wrong with your tailgate glass Swerve? MOT went well. Passed no advisories. The examiner asked me the mileage, I said have a look at the speedo. Almost fell over when he saw 000003, the distance from my house to the MOT centre. Going to have to change offside front wheel bearing as it's noisy. Was new when fitted. Took the wheel hub out and bearing is a bit noisy.
