So ive been chopping and changing my mind about what car ive wanted to restore for a while, and recently a friend told me about a mk1 golf shell for sale in fairly good condition, went to york to view it and its being transported to mine on Sunday! Exciting times!

Progress is pretty slow at the moment due to not having much luck at finding a unit. Although im going to view one on tuesday so then the real work can start!
Small update, ordered 2 bulkhead repair panels and took one to work and shotblasted it ready for welding.

Small but good update! Literally just bought a KR 1.8 16v about 5 mins ago off ebay for 30 quid, Cheaaaaap! Also found a large unit! Currently being refurbished but should be done in about 3 weeks, just needs the a lick of paint, electrics fitting (with optional 3phase
