Finally got a tin top

After moving on from the cabby world and a brief affair with an early mk2, I finally took the plunge and bought this.

It's a 1.6 gti, has had a full respray and various bits of bodywork done to make it look mint.

I've got every mot from new and she's gorgeous.

Here's some pics of it in various guises and I brought him on the tarantulas.

I've already had a set of AP coilovers fitted and the plan is to replace the interior with a better one, fit my rs001 and enjoy!

I'm thinking about fitting the gti arches back on it.

The arches have been rolled etc so i'm guessing I wont be able to secure the arches on in the usual way (with screws?), so will they need to be bonded on or something?

The bodywork is so mint and perfect I don't want to scuff them when fitting the  arches, any suggestions?

I think it needs the arches with the 8j wheels on the rear?
