Thanks Smudger !! really glad I bought the rears off somebody now and had the fronts to match In the meantime, i've re-fitted the dash and am in the process of trying to tidy all the cables up cf_emoticons__BangHead: I've wired up the electric windows and extended the wires for them and i've also wired up the stereo and components. Hopefully tomorrow I should have everything in place in the interior bar the door cards .
Heres just a couple of pics (nothing spectacular)

Well i've pretty much sorted all the wiring out to the front of the car now and everything is working how it should be …….. for the time being I managed to fit the tweeters into the vents and like the look of them in there, so i'm happy with that ! Also hid the crossovers in the glove box as well.

Love the harley colour mate, do you have the code or number for it?
I would definatley get the paintwork flaws sorted out, completely unacceptable. Very lazy/sloppy work.
Just ask him if he would accept it on his own car and see what he says.

I had a custom rad built by forge and I think the intercooler is made by pro alloy.

Got the rest of the carpet and the two front seats in today. Just the seat belts to go in next and then get the front screen fitted (properly this time !! ).
I'm going to have the interior vinyl bits made up by the guy that trimmed the seats , but want to get it on the road first so that I can drice it up and leave it with him. I'm going to see if TSR can make me something up so that I can mount the dash clocks properly too.

Been to pick up the car today and got to say I'm impressed !! Just took it slow on the way back as it's too low ! and it's rubbing on the arches when i hit bumps. Hopefully get the height and damping sorted out once I get back from holiday.
Still got a few more jobs to finish off and it'll go back to the body shop in a couple of weeks so he can correct his faults.
I also had a custom induction kit built as the pipe from the revo one i bought didn't sit in the right place.

Excellent work, the intake looks great!
I really like the look of the TFSI engines without the airbox, you could lose the oil filler neck and bring the filler cap flush with the rocker cover as well, its a nice free mod.
Would love to see some photos of the pipework from the turbo to the intercooler on the belt side of the engine!
I have my engine in but having a bit of a headache with that area!
