Settling In


After the servo clevis and pin to connect the servo to the pivot brake bar.

I have fitted a mk2 servo and cant use the clevis end as there is no hole to clip the return spring into

You need to modify the new servo (cut down and re thread the rod) and fit the original part. View topic: 16V Servo Conversion: Clevis Pin Change - The Mk1 Golf Owners Club
Worth doing some extra research as if you don't get the length right you end up with binding or permanently on brakes.

I have already cut down the rod etc.
Im in the middle of a restoration without all parts present so i don't have the Mk1 clevis to fit to the servo which i need
