MK1 GOLF LOWER BONNET MECHANISM

i'm after a lower bonnet catch for my mk1 in good working condition please
getting bored of my bonnet coming open when i go over bumps!!

The one that rivets on to the front panel?

yeah that's the one.. the lower one.. you got one?

Yeah I think I have, Thing is I'm working away till Thursday so can't guarantee a definite till then. I am 97% sure I have though. Are you sure that your release cable isn't too tight or kinked? and the locks line up correctly?

Have you not tried adjusting it by the upper catch
Or adjusting the lower bit where the cable goes

Yeah thanks guys but im sure my lower mechanism has just had it. The cable is fine i even fitted a new one. But the spring in the mechanism snapped so ive replaced it but its just a bit of a bodge job for the time being with it not being the right spring.
So yeah mk1golfdriver if you could have a look for me when you can id appreciate it
