I've seen loads that look similar but don't quite have the right pattern like this:

If anyone knows of one going spare please let me know! Many thanks

It has step by step guide to swapping the foams out. The foams afaik are available from Germany still. You need really a passenger base to swap over. The base foam and seat cover are interchangeable from either side. So good passenger seat base would do. You need to have a look see why the seat isn't working. It could be the plastic glides that fit onto the seat legs at the rear or the guide on the front where the runner slides forwards. Take a picture of the underneath where the handle etc is.

The handle for moving the seat just flaps about pathetically so it's obviously broken. We did try WD40 on the rails but nothing doing so I'll get it out and have a look at what state it's in at the weekend

they have metal rods in the sleeves that hold the cover in place so youll have to wiggle em out.
I soaked mine in the bath lol. If you have got a sewing machine you could always take the worn bit out and replace from another bit of material. What happens is the drivers bolster gets hammered getting in and out of the car, but the passenger inner bolster is next to the gear stick so doesn't, but if you look at the orientation on the seats the passenger inner is the same side as the drivers outer..some folks swap over as they see the drivers side wear down, once you to the metal rod under the side bloster this stretches the fabric and eventually wears a hole through…

We recovered our VW Campervan seats once, that was fun, NOT! I do however have a sewing machine (not great with it to be fair

I'll have to do it soon as I don't think I can take the pain for much longer

You could use the fabric off those and get a trimmer to re do the front seats. Plus spare material should you ever need it for repairs.
just a thought…
