Cabby exhaust heatshield wanted

Post

Hi all.
My 1988 GTi cabby has wrecked the rubber gaiter on the bottom steering knuckle as the exhaust heatshield is missing, does anyone have a heatshield they could sell me?
It's the toilet bowl manifold to downpipe fitting if that makes a difference.
I'm also looking for one of the little brackets that holds the radiator to the slam panel (I presume theyre seperate to the radiator as one of mine is missing?)
Thanks.

Maybe message classic vw to check when the bracket will next be in stock.

Thankyou Mark. Good idea, I will wrap the new boot when I fit one if I cant find or make a heatshield.

If you look on the 1st page of my post on my car you can see the UJ boot wrapped in a plumbers matt.

Thanks Mark. I've bought a new boot from Heritage & ordered a soldering mat to wrap around it as I dont hold out much hope of finding an original heatshield. Your photo's helped a lot.
