Soft top problem

 





Hello Everyone,

I have a 1984 Model Golf Cabriolet. Since I am currently actively using it, I have some questions about the soft top. I would be very happy if you could support me. The front of my soft top does not fit properly. What could this be? Do I need to buy a new soft top mechanism? How can I solve the problem?

In addition, there is this much space in the rear window.

Hi,
I'd really need to see the car in person to attempt to diagnose the issues. It could be a frame that's not been bolted on correctly or one where the main hinge pin is sheared, a twisted frame even.
I'm over in Derby the East Midlands.
