Hello, i'm Chris, 50 years young, from Switzerland. I'm on my 3rd mk1 ('79 mk1 GTI 4 speed, '81 5 speed and  '91 1.8 Cabby). Lurking since a lot of time, and i decided to subscribe, 'cause you have quite a nice place here Cheers

P.S..don't bash me for the horrible red wheels. They're temporary, i have a set of Le Castellet (polished) that i'm about to renew.





Car is on coilovers, until now i did just maintenance, the steering wheel (Momo Montecarlo), shift knob, rear lights with reverse in red, the stickers on the windows and the radio/speakers upgraded. In the future, for this year just put the Castellet rims on, timing belt (i already have it), headlight relays mod, upgraded the dash lights with led's (green as oem), a big clean of the carpet, and the grill eyelid that i have, just need to paint. Next year, i want to search for a nice set of BBS RM (here in Switzerland you can find them for about 2000£), and…i think stop after that, and just enjoy it. As i said, this is my 3rd mk1, i bought it because it means so much to me, it was the first car ever my late dad bought me.
