Cheeky intruder

Just thought I’d take the plunge and join the forum. I've owned a Mk2 Scirocco since 2016 and numerous VWs before that. mark1gls has on occasion referred Mk1 and Mk2 Scirocco owners here from the Scirocco Register forum, so I've benefitted from the knowledge and experience shared here a few times in the past.

Living only a few miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, I'm toying with coming along to next weekend's Golf Mk1 gathering on the Sunday to have a look round. I notice there is a pre-93 class in the show n shine - am I right in thinking my Scirocco would be acceptable there?

Thanks for your enthusiastic reply, Ade, appreciate the welcome! I made it on the Sunday. Good to see so many pristine cars and to chat with some of their owners. It is obvious a lot of hard work goes on in advance and behind the scenes to make the gathering such a great event.

Good also to get some feedback on my Rocco from the show and shine judges. I realise I should probably have asked on the day, but is it possible to get hold of the judging scores/comments for my car?
