New member from Central Scotland

Alright everyone,

My names Jackson, been on a couple of VW forums before, wasnt much of an active user as I didnt really know what I was talking about most the time but hoping to get more involved now after a quick look round the site.

Finally took the plunge and bought my first MK1. Been into VWs ever since I can remember and always wanted to own one. A friend from work sent me a link to one for sale from a garage in Kirkcaldy, Dubnutz and picked it up about 5 weeks ago.
Car history, 2006 Polo, 2009 Scirocco, 2014 Merc A class   and now my daily is a MK7 Golf


Its a 1989 Cabby GTi in Helios blue, Plan is to keep it running and try get my head round owning a motor of this vintage and see where it goes. Think a previous owner was a user of this site.
