golf clipper karmen
just looking for some info really
it got 38k
original seats and roof
roof cover
original sterio
original paint
original bill of sale
and teddy bear wheels lol
gonna post a picture also was just looking for info on valuing it, shows to go to, and what not
i was tempted to revamp it i.e. repainting and stuff but i have been informed this would effect selling price
any advice or comments would be lovely

Whilst Cabby values haven't taken off like the tin tops, I think they are sure to follow them at sometime and as with tin tops and the Mk2 Golf originality will make a bigger difference I think. So no don't paint it unless it's got some damage.
Your not alone in having the teddy bear wheels

We would all love to see some more pictures and find out where you are from.

yeah no damage on her bit of mold were she has been sitting around few scratches and that but inside clean.
nothing a valet can't sort out
i will dig some more pictures out

and some pictures of the paper work i have with her
thats the best picture i have atm
im in london and summer time bognor regis and south coast
i bought it for my son who is now 14 but lol he wants my bmw m3
no class these younger lot

Cabby prices have risen of late and low mileage standard cars are hard to find.
Ronal teddies again bit of a rarity. Nice to have something different.
Id just add that all the cabbies were made at the Karmann Factory and there isn't a particular model known as the Karmann edition as others have quoted before.
The Karmann wing badges are a tribute to the manufacturer who made these for Volkswagen.
VW didn't want to build the cabby at Wolfsburg alongside the Tin tops because they worried it would affect the production of the tinnies.
For me it's roof down, windblokker in place.. Tunes on and big smile…
