I go to a fortnightly meet on a monday night at the toby if you guys fancy coming along?
Future plans - well, not many really. The drivers seat needs the usual bolstor repair, then I might treat it to a rebuild and respray over winter.

Alright chaps, Id be up for a meet and some advice, Ive just moved to Chelmsford and also acquired a mk1 cabby off a mate of mine. The engine seems to be pingink/pinking however and some advice off someone with more experience of these cars than me would be welcome. Hope to see some of you soon

There Monday meet is fortnightly at the toby carvery in Colchester.
There is also a meet this Thursday at Boreham. If you google Essex VW meet on facebook it should come up
