thanks already

Hi to all.  Youve already saved my bacon and yet its taken me this long to say hello.  been so busy since buying my mk1 1983 1.3 cl ive not hd time to say a thing but thanks to the posts here ive worked out the probs with my new baby and shes running sweet  :y:

Im originally from shetland and my younger bruv got me into the cars even though he has the mk2 (im making him jealous with the mk1).
Im pertty handy round the motor thanks to my dad an his old cars an tutilage so felt the restoration of a mk1 wouldnt be to hard but mine nearly got me stumped. Check my posts in the small block threads.
I put on enough detail i hope so that it can be of help to anyone else with similar issues.

Im living in glasgow now so if you know of any relevant golf stuff north of the border feel free to enlighten me.

My wee car has a claim to fame also.  She was used in the 20 years of golf booklet and can be seen in the background in at least one of the pics.
i may get more info on that and wasw given a copy of the book with the car.

Thanks for making all the effort to keep this facility out there as it has saved my bacon.

Send me details of how to subscribe an ill happily contribute!

Raymond. :starwars:  just had to use these wee dudes!!  Look at em go!!!
