Rocco owner from Bristol - Hi!
Evening all!
Thought I'd pop up a thread to introduce myself, since this seems to be the best resource for information about our beloved old dubs. I'm not a Golf owner but I'm not far off - I have a Mk2 Scirocco Scala i that I've owned for just over two years now. She's a work in progress really - gradual mods continue as and when funds arise, but generally I spend my time fault finding and fixing broken bits!
As she was when I first bought her:
After a couple of cosmetic 'amendments':
New shoes (originally came with tyres that were too low-profile; have since been changed for more appropriate rubber!):
Most recent changes are black wing mirrors and bumpers, and the addition of a badgeless grille. More to come I hope! For the moment though, she's sitting on the side of the road feeling a little sorry for herself due to an ignition fault
Anyway, Hi to everyone - I know I'm not a true Golf owner, but I'm glad to be here!

I get flashes and waves from rocco owners and will always try to get in there first. Got to say that I do like rocco's and there seems to be a bit of a bond with both owners. Welcome to the site. I should be right in saying that the only things you cant do as a rocco owner is ask rocco questions in the tech section (unless it is the same question as the golf) and selling the car itself… other than that stick a build thread in "Your other projects" as people will love to see a rocco on here…. that's it really… get involved!!!!General chat is the place to put rocco specific questions
Welcome to the fastest growing single marque site out there
P.S more pics when you create your build thread please
