Bought the golf just over a month ago, had one around 1989 just as the insurance company's got feed up with the hot hatch tag and put up the prices to get them of the roads. This one has had 12 owners a lot I know but the car looked good.

Cheers, paid 2400 for the car needs a few bits and bob's doing (new front bumper split on corner , spoken to Rich at crazyquiffs about the streering wheel getting it restitched ) but it's going to be a running restro HOPFULLY !!. Jon

Mine's a rolling resto and looks nowhere near as tidy. Mind you it doesn't help when some motherflumper puts a dimple in the front wing and then drives off.  :evil:

Still, it did result in me naming him "dimples" 8)  He needed a name.
