Just joined the club after buying golf from my Son. based in Norfolk and looking forward to entering the MK1 scene. Some nice person nicked all the side trim and was wondering what colour the original trim would have been on an E reg Cabriolet.

Hi again, it is an E reg Cabriolet having done about 68000 miles. It is not perfect but has not been welded or anything I am led to believe and is starting to clean up nicely. Went to Snetterton yesterday to watch the stock hatch championship as some friends race in it and my Son used to kart with them in the British Championship. Lucky me great racing AND the Golf GTI championship was also on. Double bubble can't be bad. Got a busy week this week so hope to get some photos up next weekend,     The Judge.
