thanx guys. A buddy of mine has a 2 door mk1 GTi which came from Switzerland,i love that car. Down here we only got the mk1 GT in 2door,which was a 1.6 carb so not close to the performance of the GTi.
not sure why VW did that. Oh well, I guess i prefer my passengers to have their own door.  
The other car in the pic is an 82 GLS, its nice to have a partner to ride along with..although I always have to slow down for him..
Hey Lorrie, im around the southern suburbs, I'm a little cautious when giving out info because a buddy of mine did that and the next week his car was stolen..
