Newbie from Leeds

Hello there, 

I have managed to get my clipper through its mot and have had the pleasure of driving around Yorkshire.

It is a 1.8 bog standard clipper in matt black with a genuine 58k on the clock. It has been stored for past few years at my dads but now back in Leeds.

Can I ask if there is a carburettor specialist nearby as she is a bit temperamental.

Anyway exited to be here and long may it continue.

Get the pierberg thrown away fella and treat yourself to a Webber best 300 notes I spent !!!!

Welcome mate! Im from Bradford. I have had problems with the PE2 carb. Probably going to change it. There is a really good youtube video.by 'ifitsgotwheels' on how to set up the carb. Main thing is check all the pipes and replace any dodgy ones and also the rubber flange between the carb and manifold may be split so that's an easy thing to replace. Make sure you have a heat shield on your manifold that draws warm air to the carb or you will have problems when the weather goes cold!
