newbie from edinburgh

Hi all, new guy on the scene from edinburgh. After having a few mk1 golf gti 8v 3dr's a longtime ago i moved into the more family type cars !! Then just over a year ago i had a look on ebay and autotrader for an original mk1 cabrio gti. After looking at quite a few motors i finally got the right one,colour,condition and the right price !!!!!!! So thought i'd join the club and maybe make it to shows/gathering around the uk !!!!!

seems alot more mk1 owners appearing north of the border these days get in touch with eck to find info on future scottish meets 8)

Thanks bud, it was a hard challenge trying to find a nice mk1 cabrio gti up here as most of them are down south !! But i got one eventually !!

I bought mine from Berwick Upon Tweed and drive it back down South  so thery are around.
