Newbie From East Sussex

Just got a B reg GTI conv. Karmann.  Lovely cond, only 65,000 miles.  Will post some pics soon.  Just keen to see who's about in the area…

Also what fuel are people finding the best….  I put in some 99 momentum and she didnt seem impressed.

Hi guys I'm from west Sussex either of you have much experience? I'm wanting to strip and paint and rebuild my 81 gti but have very little experience with cars help?

Rather like Dan have some experience
, but not to the extent of re-build.  I rely a little on my cousin who is a mechanic - i have some good contacts for body work and mechanics if that helps - mainly based in Eastbourne / Hastings….

Also might be good for us and Dan to have a meet one day and compare notes… As im a little new to this world - but have always loved Golf's

Also any comments people might have on the body kit i have  - i was told by the owner - 1 and only owner - that it was factory fitted, but i have not seen another with such a big front spoiler - opinions would be appreciated
