Just bought a 89 Clipper. A little tatty but v original apart from the wheels but there Mk 2 .
Had llots of Dubs before both air and water but this is my first Mk 1 so I'm at the bottom of the learning curve. just going to us it now for the summer and then see what happens.

looks nice. use it for the summer. Winter it needs to sleep.

The wheels are growing on me but I do like the BBs look. I've got 3 months to clear the garage out so it can hibernate like a Blue Peter tortoise

Yeah nice looking motor, doesn't look too tatty at all but then cameras are great at hiding things. I just bought my first mk1 cab, white gti similar to yours for the summer, although mortgage evils will probably mean the poor blighter gets used in the winter too

Anything planned for your car?
