New Guy

Hi guys/gals
iv just registered today and am looking at getting a mk1. had one before re-done by Practical classics OEL 214W dont know if anyone read about the restoration but they spent 13000 on re-build and as i was a 19 year old    :evil: at the time i sadly wrote it off    i have always regretted this and since then i have cut ma teeth on rs turbo's bmw's and subaru's looking to get back the MAGIC of the dubs but failed. The closest i got was a mini pick-up which was great to drive. Im now passed all that and am ready to get another mk1. This club seems full of genuine enthusiasts that have a wide range of experiance, abbility and funds so sounds perfect.
Hope to get to know everyone a little better.
