Settling In
New GTi
Well, after a long time driving my wife's (Vick) erm, characterful yellow, primer and rust coloured 1.5 around, I've finally gone and bought a GTi.
Sadly, its had a hard life and hasn't been too well loked after of recent years….
Those badly painted white bumpers and wheelarch trims *HAVE* to go. They suck. The grille, badges and side trims show signs of a turquoise 8O paint that is just soooooo 1980s, and sooooooo has to go.
There are signs of rust on the bottoms of the doors, someone has spanged the passenger side sill and the back panel is pretty ropey. However, with some TLC she'll be back on the road pretty soon.
Can't wait to start using her! 8)
