New Golf GTI Cab

Hi, I have just joined having bought my first Mk 1 Golf. A 1985 Mk 1 GTI Cabriolet. I am trying to trace it's history and havn't a clue where to start…. Help appreciated from anyone who has any ideas.

Maybe post up a pic and more details of your cab, ie number plate etc, maybe someone on here will recognise it…

1985 Black Mk 1 GTI Karman Cab, Reg B477 YYE. other than based in the leicester area and restored back to original I know nothing about it's history. I think the reg is the original one issued with the car but not sure
