hello everyone!
new to this site but hopefully as a mk 1 owner in the next few days!

im stuck in identifiying the car i want to buy. its a 89 mk 1 cab 1.8 carb. its not a gti but it looks very basic otherwise. eg no clipper bodykit. did they produce a basic model like this?

clipper kits were fitted to cabs from 88' onwards, so your cab could be earlier model or bumpers changed / kit removed in the past.

the clipper kit didn't come on all clipper cabbys as some just had the small bumpers
