MFA AND AIR CON

Hi,i am quite new to all this so please dont laugh at the following question. I have a 1981 GTI and have seen that some of the newer MK1's have the MFA computer on board. My car has a digital clock but no MFA controls on the indicator stalk. Does this mean my car has the MFA computer on board or not and if i do,is it just a case of having to get some stalks with the MFA controls fitted ? My second question is about air con. I have a brand new VW air con kit for my MK1 which has been in my garage for the last 17 years. Everyone i speak to including VW does not seem to know anything about these or that they even existed. Can you shed any light on who would know how to fit this kit. Cheers,Pete.

Mfa will not be on your car .

Air con , i have seen a few kits over the years they would have been taken from an American spec MK1 Rabbit . You need to search the web across the 'pond' . Heavy bit of kit !
