IM new too!

I dunno if im doing this right, im sure someone will tell me if not. ive got a mk1 Campaign in Silver, owned it for around 5 yrs now the last 2 being parked up.Now after poor experiences with lesser makes, im blowing the dust off her and hopefully getting her tested at the end of the month. Have you much work to do, or is it just fluids-change, and a wash and polish-up?

Where do i start. Not really too much, I had a 1900 motor in it, but ive had to take it out cause the missus doesn't approve, so put in an early Mk2 Scirocco engine and box, started fine, BUT-exhaust manifold and front pipe are later C clip items, drive shaft flanges are diff too. Other than that rear anti roll bar strap, small patch on rear inner arch, and as normal look at brakes. but im desperate to get back in it

Im getting desperate now though, My missus has a Mk3 Gti too, so thats our take the kid out car, which gives me the chance to build another Mk1, so I think she'll be staying for a few months then be put up for sale or swap for a black one with no sunroof, i really fancy a track day car, that i can use every day and i wouldn't want to use the Campaign Im also on the search for an early Vw Beach Buggy, but ive loads of cars to get rid of first.It dont matter how much room you've got its never enough for all the toys!
