I remember when?

Back in 1990 I passed my driving test , So bought myself a car a 1983 Mk1 Golf GTI, KRH 822Y, Alpine white, Cost 2700 quid , had it a while, But I sold it, after 2 years.
   Now 15 years later, here I am in the search of another one, for about the same money, So guys what will my money get me? :dontknow: .
Oh and hello, I also own a Honda Super Blackbird, motorbike

Welcome Roger. well, for ?2700 you'd get a tidy car!

Keep your wits about you and bide your time and for that money you could have a pretty mint/restored Gti or maybe a Campaign that needs a little tidying.

Check out the buying guides on the site for any help, keep you eye out on for sale ads and on evilbay to get an idea of current prices. It's not uncommon to get a bargain! Oh, and if you have any questions just ask!
