Howdy!
Hi I'm Olson,
I come from Norwich and have a Silver 1983 1800 mk1 Golf gti, at the moment it's totally standard apart from a VAG glass sunroof and some white Awesome guages.
I've had it for a year or so after 9 other owners and it still never misses a beat.
The engine was rebuilt just before I bought it and it has been ziebarted religiously from new. The car is so original and I love it.
Before I bought the Golf I had a mk1 Convertible and a mk2 Polo GT, but mostly for the last 9 years I've been kicking around the aircooled VW scene.
Among other cars I've owned have been a Sepia Brown 1964 VW Notchback, slammed on full hydraulics with custom metalflake flamed paintwork, a 1966 VW splitscreen sliding door panelvan, a 1956 VW oval window ragtop beetle with pearlescent paintwork and hot 1835 engine, and a 1303 (fat chick) beetle which burst into flames on the A12 when it popped a fuel line!
On the way for the Golf are 80mm dropped springs and shocks, and I've just received trough the post a set of adaptors to fit my 14" polished NSUs.
This is the look I'm after and don't intend to do much else to it.
The rest of my money goes into my other project, a race-prepped 1962 mk1 Cortina.
Nice to meet you all,
Olson

Those cars are all really nice :y:
My sister boyfriend has just bought a Notch awesome little car.
I think the GTI would look awesome with a red grill.

Yeah, I'd quite like a plain grille with just two headlight apertures instead of 4.
Any offers?

Just out of interest, what colour Notchback did they buy, and what's his name?
