Howdy!
Hi, thought I would introduce myself! I'm Rob, from Hampshire and I'm quite fond of VW's, but Mk1 Golfs in particular.
I've currently got a few Golfs, 1 Mk3 GL TDI which I drive daily, a 1991 Mk2 16v which I hope to sell soon, a mk2 8v which is a bit of a project and then the one that you guys will hopefully appreciate!
It's almost completely standard body and interior wise, which is how I like mk1's, the running gear is a little modified however (please don't crucify me 8O ) with Spax adjustables, Eibach ARBs, TSR 270mm brakes and braided hoses and a ABF which made 193bhp (at the flywheel) down at TSR in February
- suffice to say it goes ok!
Anyway, Hi!

Cheers Andy,
The engine bay is a bit better looking than that now, but hopefully given time it will look much nicer still! I stripped the whole bay when I had the old 1900 out and repainted most of it, but running out of time meant that I never got round to painting the passengers side inner wing properly
ops: - I want to do it all again later in the year but need to concentrate on the mk2 for now!
