Hi all,

I've been a lurker here for years, starting out in a 1982 Golf GL but moved over to the Scirocco, currently have quite a few mk1 Sciroccos.

I decided for fun to whet my Golf whistle again and have just picked up a 1978 five door GLS with 43k miles on the clock. Needs bits of work here and there but its proving to be a great base for a rolling restoration, so thought it quite right to say hi.

Great site and love the project threads.
