Nice to meet you all. Lots of stuff to read, Some real coorkers too, stuff to make you smile, like i do and plenty of very good advice. I dunno where i would be with out this forum.

Another great MK1 Owners club thing is meeting people in the flesh. Went to Gaydon MK1 day this year and it great! Met drew (the owner guy) and his red Mk1 which is in Jeremy Clarksons Heaven and Hell DVD 2005. Also met a few others from this site, havent a clue who they are, but the conversations where great. Next for me is the Ultimate Dubs day in March 2006, and also a SWM7,8,9,10 When ever i get chance!.

From one newbie to another, welcome aboard. I too bought my cabbie about two months ago and am looking to nurse it back to full health. This site is packed with top tips and theyr'e a friendly bunch too.
