Hi everyone - newbie in Leeds seeking help with spares
I have a confession to make: I actually signed up to this site in August 2005 but haven't posted until now.
I am hoping someone can/will help me…I am desperately looking for a replacement window winding mechanism for the driver's door of my mkI cabby.
Thanks in advance,
G4V

Being "new" to all this, I am not sure how I can contact funk-star or crazyquiffs (I am guessing they are members of this site). Is there a way to DM people or do I twiddle until they post on this thread?

LOL… you'll get used to all this mate. Basically what I do is go to "Search" on the left over there <———-
Once in there type the user you wish to find in the "Author" section and click "search".
Find his name anywhere on the right and then click it.
You will be displayed with their forum profile screen.
Click the pm button and write him a message (include a subject title or it won't send).
Click on send once you've filled it all in.
To check if he replies click "Messages" over on the left <————————–
Click "Inbox" and you'll see any new mail.
To see if he has read YOUR mail, click on the "Outbox"… if the mail is not in there then he's read it. If it is in there then he hasn't picked it up yet.
Click THIS LINK and it'll take you straight to funk-star profile then click pm.
