Hi everybody
hello fellow mk1 owners, I have just left UKMkiv's.net after having owned my 1.4 mk4 for little over a year, I was not intending on selling up but found a beautiful example of a mk1 clipper cabriolet and bought it within a week of finding it
I was wondering if you guys could help me out with a couple of things, firstly, as I'm 18 with 1 year NCB, do you know of any quality insurers that could probably get me a good deal, at the moment the best I can find is about 1800 with admiral. And secondly, my new mk1 is listed in the registers from a previous owner I'd imagine, but requires more information such as the reg number, how can I change this? many thanks in advance

Hi mate and welcome to the magical world of mk1's!!
In respect of the register it is corrupt and would need re-doing so it is not up to date. You can not add or amend anything in it mate.
With insurance why not try one of the sites advertisers on the left :dontknow:

ok so here are the pictures of my new whip, my plans are to customise the engine bay and interior, but keep it looking relatively original at the same time, I would also love a set of proper bbs splits in chrome dish with black spokes, comments welcome …..
