hi all
new to this forum but not to mk1's, however i've just bought this, it's my £500 steal
i haven't owned mk1's for 15 years, it's good to be back

Hi Ian, welcome to the site, were all a friendly bunch, happy to help and there is some great regional meets and of course the annual get together at the AGM. Looks like you did get a steal there! £500 ! ! look tiday, does it need any major work, or you already cruisin about in the sun smug with that good buy :-) , where you located ?

yeah got offered it through a friend who isn't into golfs, it had been stood on his neighbours dad drive for the last 3 years, got it , put it through a mot and it just need a head lamp, wiper blades, 1 tyre and the rear brakes sorting. all done now and yes enjoy the weather in a cabby. all in all cost me £710 very happy with that.
