Hello every body, my name is S?rgio i'm from Portugal.
My uncle just gave me a 1982 gti mk1, i went to see it today for the first time, and i really don't know what to do. It is all modified, it's durty but looks nice, white pearl paint, front and rear bumper and the sides are really close to the ground , 205/50-15 tyres, they adapted a turbo in it, but it doesen't run since 1996, when i looked at the engine, i couldn't see anything due to the dirt that was on it, the tyres are complitely flat, the seats are rotten, there's a big hole of rust in the gas tank, all the gas/wather pipes need to be changed… I'm asking for a advice about if it's worth to spent some money/time in it.

jon gti car looks like a fair price, suprising how just a good polish can transform the car.
 cerjyu…..turbo sounds interesting, could be a little gem in the making. like to see some pics .
