helpppp i need to know how to wire ignition switch!

i recently bought a mk1 that has been garaged for the last three years,
but while being stored some muppet tried to steal it by hot wiring it so they have cut the wires and twisted them together but in the process taken the plug end wich goes on the ignition switch so i dont know where the wires go can any 1 help? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
